I’ve been stuck with Rogers for years now out of laziness and they’ve just been throwing additional data at me lately. Rarely they offer me lower rates but it’s like pulling teeth over the phone. Finally something for my loyalty but honestly I’ve probably paid them enough over the years to buy a 8 bedroom house in Vancouver

Here I am as a Rogers customer of almost 20 years and I only have 2gb on my plan. I pay the same $35 but that was after many attempts of calling to get discounts. I tried to call to get more data and they wouldn't move an inch. Guess these days the only way to get any good plans is to constantly hop around between companies...

Telus/Koodo has that, but Rogers/Fido does not. If you don't get a call, you're out of luck.

On vacation

I know it might be a little hassle to switch but you need to hop around every 2 years because ROBELUS customer loyalty means nothing to them. I switch to Rogers from Bell recently after 2 years because their CS is just awful. After the switch and they keep asking me if price is my main concern. I told them no and they keep pushing retention deals that doesn't come close to Rogers new activation deals. I'm not putting my faith in Rogers customer service either but I plan to shop around every 2 years to keep competition competitive.

Damn that's a sweet deal. Just switched to Telus from Fido for $40 US/CAD with device financing... kinda hoping Rogers will call me with the same offer because I like to keep my 2% cashback on their credit card I have

No thanks Roger's. I'll pass on any offers you make. You don't reward honesty loyal customers, so why should I return to you?

Can you elaborate on "with all the add-ons"? $200 bill credit is quite tempting but want to know what else is offered.

Just curious if anyone knows whether porting out from Rogers to Fido might make someone eligible for win back offers? I assume likely not since they are the same company but just curious.

How so? Everytime I read about the free GB threads they seem targeted. I go to the app and there is nothing for me

Telus 5g absolutely sucks in BC so am considering jumping ship to Rogers.

DealDushe wrote: Same here. No other company has ever lied to me until Rogers. Was just asking myself if I'd be willing to go back even for free and not sure I would.

Had a call from one of many winback agents a while ago, and I said something like "I wouldn't even go back to Rogers if you paid me."
He accepted the challenge and said, "what if I was able to give you free service for 6 months?"... I thought about it for a few seconds and said "not even if you gave it to me for 2 years."
That was the end of that conversation, and I don't even regret it.
